Bistroo is a Dutch restaurant ordering and management technology platform that operates at the intersection of hospitality tech and Web3.Bistroo is a Dutch restaurant ordering and management technology platform that operates at the intersection of hospitality tech and Web3. The company provides restaurants with a suite of tools including a consumer ordering app, a merchant portal, and a point-of-sale device, and has processed over $12 million in orders. What sets Bistroo apart from conventional food-tech players is its native cryptocurrency token, $BIST, which is tied to a deflationary burning mechanism linked to the platform's gross transaction volume — meaning more orders processed leads to more tokens burned. The project has also aligned itself with the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) movement, launching a testnet on the peaq blockchain as part of its broader ambition to decentralize restaurant infrastructure. As of early 2025, the team acknowledged a quieter period around the project and token utility, while continuing to publish monthly progress reports for its community of token holders.

From a business and growth potential perspective Bistroo is best in: - already established market and businesses that use the service - defined goals and perspective for growth (especially longer term) if a foothold is to be established outside of the Netherlands - many tools for vendors and customers - personal data is controlled by the user, the system of data management is overall commendable - both customer and vendor-friendly payment system as an alternative to the popular services like UberEats

Nice to hear this Platform, it's respect more privacy because it based on blockchain, so data mining & selling data about customer would not exist, it would have less fees unlike uber, grab etc. i hope Bistroo can go International & well known

Bistroo from the current standpoint seems like a great project, its merging the blockchain/crypto industry with a "real" life world service which is just going to be a catalyst for the mass adoption of crypto/blockchains. A great way for the average person to be introduced and accustomed to this emerging world of blockchains which to some people is the future. Bistro with the BIST token will give discounts to individuals paying using $BIST and have many other incentivized features which rewards consumers and merchants. This seems like a great way to further community's as both consumers and merchants are rewarded for simple interactions which stem from someone needing food and someone making the food. This in the end will further the demand for online food services because people will find it 1.convenient and 2.rewarding to be able to get a product but not feel as if they've lost but gained in the process. All of this as well as the apps interface, merchant set up and processing of the store to processing of the orders, is such a seamless process. That its hard to imagine consumers and merchants not jumping into the Bistroo world. In all, I see an even brighter future for Bistroo and will be closely watching for its continued success.

The reduced commision fees. The UI looks intuitive and is aesthetically appealing.

This was something that I actually thought about before after some restaurant owners told me about the crazy fees Justeat and Uber charge them just for using the service, 30% + transaction fees, and it took off the majority of the profit margin for most items and put some below the profit margin, so I think this project is a good cause and I really hope it does well and expands so that there's less leaching off of the hard work of small businesses when they're already struggling so much during and eventually after the pandemic.

I see this very good project Bistroo. This will help the world and this is very good. Bistroo seems like a very gentle project to be able to purchase foods online, with crypto! The fees are also low which IS AMAZING. Also when you help the project with your data, you also get paid for that, which makes other people to get motivated and help. When people help together, the project will grow, and later become much more SUCCESSFUL. I love this idea where this is a win-win and we are able to help the future of a very gentle project. The CEO is very nice and I love him very much, it makes customer attracted and feel more comfortable trusting into this project.

A Dutch incentive partnered with Koninklijke Horeca Nederland, it has the potential to aid the industry in recovering post-corona. By bringing this technology into the sector it could become a keystone for the market for years to come.

Utilizing the blockchain in the food delivery sector is an extremely innovative idea, and as the industry seem to be taking advantage of home delivery more and more, that competition that Bistroo is bringing to the table will help it flourish. Its cheap, fast, reliable. What more could you want?
