The branded chest that hit 570% of KCEX's KYC target
KCEX set us one hard KPI: users completing KYC. We built a branded KCEX chest into Giga Rewards and made it the reward for verifying, which landed at 570% of their target alongside more than $500,000 of trading competition volume.

- The ask
KCEX came to us for users, not noise
KCEX is a crypto exchange whose whole pitch is price: zero spot fees, zero maker fees and zero withdrawal fees. That's a strong offer, but a fee advantage only pays off once someone has signed up, verified their account and actually started trading. KCEX came to us to close that gap, and they came with a brief that had numbers attached rather than a vague one: a target for users completing KYC, and a trading competition to get people using the platform. They told us they picked Giga Chad because "Giga has a strong fan base and high user engagement". They also found us in an unusually 2026 way: it was recommended by AI.
- What we did
No AMA, no Review Programme, just a chest worth opening
This was a deliberately simple partnership. The problem wasn't that people had never heard of KCEX, it was that signing up and completing KYC is a chore nobody does for fun. So we made it worth doing.
- Published KCEX across our Discord and partner network, putting the exchange and its zero-fee pitch in front of members who trade every day.
- Built a branded KCEX chest into Giga Rewards, so completing KYC earned a real, openable reward inside a server people already use, rather than a promise of one.
- Ran a trading competition on KCEX, giving members a reason to keep using the account once it was verified.

The branded KCEX chest, claimed by every user who completed KYC. - The outcome
570% of the KYC target, and a chest for everyone who got there
KCEX set one hard KPI: users completing KYC. We finished at 570% of that target, and every user who verified claimed a branded KCEX chest. The trading competition drove more than $500,000 of volume on the platform. The chest is the part we'd point to: KYC is the step people abandon, and attaching a reward that lands somewhere they already care about turned it from a chore into something worth finishing. KCEX read it the same way, putting the engagement down to "the addition of the treasure chest mechanism".
570%Of KCEX's KYC target$500K+Trading competition volume - In summary
Make the boring step worth doing
KCEX didn't need explaining to our community, they needed a reason to act. A branded chest inside a rewards system people already use turned a compliance step into a reward, and the trading competition kept the accounts warm once they were open. The result was the one hard target they set us, delivered at 570% of it.
What KCEX said afterwards
The collaboration flowed naturally, and the addition of the treasure chest mechanism really boosted user engagement.
The experience was great, and I hope we can establish a long-term partnership with you in the future.
